Abstract

Management informed by scientific evidence is a structured and transparent way to subsidize political decision-making, and aims to ensure that decisions are based on the best available scientific evidence (WHO, 2009). With the Covid-19 pandemic, management informed by scientific evidence has become more noticeable to the population and more relevant to managers and government officials. This paper aims to describe the structuring of the Evidence Nucleus within the scope of the Goiás State Department of Health.
